Landline is a practice of Cocoon LLC. By purchasing a reading or subscribing to The Luminary, you agree to the terms below.
I'm honored to work with you, using astrology as a tool for self-discovery and personal growth. Before we begin, please review the information below about our mutual responsibilities in this relationship. My Services
I offer astrology readings and ongoing coaching, delivered asynchronously. I partner with you to uncover your values and strengths, clarify your goals, and take purposeful action toward growth and fulfillment.
Readings: Your reading will be shared with you as an audio message in Signal within 5 business days of my receiving your complete birth data (date, time, and place of birth).
If your birth time is unknown or uncertain, let me know — we'll discuss what's possible before you purchase.
The Luminary (monthly package): Send me audio messages via Signal anytime, and receive a response within 3 business days.
What Astrology Is (and Isn't)
I use astrology to promote self-discovery and personal growth. Astrology does not predict the future, and it does not provide medical advice. Nothing I share constitutes advice for behavior or decision-making, including financial, business, or personal decisions. You are responsible for the actions you take.
You understand that I am not a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, doctor, financial advisor, or attorney, and my services do not and should not take the place of licensed medical, mental health, financial, or legal services. Astrology and coaching are not health care or medical services. While I may recommend other services if I believe they will help you, you are responsible for seeking out medical and other professional services if you need them. I will do my best to provide services that I believe are best for you, but I don't make any guarantees about how my services will work for you or what they will help you achieve.
Your Role
You are completely in control of the actions you take (or don't take) and the decisions you make, and you acknowledge that you are engaging with these services at your own risk. I am not responsible for any effects, outcomes, or results of our work together, including choices, actions, or lack of action you take — you are putting in the work toward your growth and fulfillment on a day-to-day basis and are responsible for any outcomes and results.
Payment
Readings are paid for in advance via Stripe. The Luminary is billed monthly via Stripe, or with a single package payment via Stripe.
Rate changes: In the future, I may change my rates. If you have a Luminary subscription, I will let you know of any rate changes at least 30 days in advance.
Refunds
There are no refunds for readings.
For The Luminary, there are no refunds unless you have an automatic recurring monthly payment. If you have automatic payments and would like to cancel, you can email me at lisa@the-cocoon.co within 48 hours of an automatic payment to request a refund for that payment.
Canceling The Luminary
If you have automatic recurring payments, you can cancel anytime using your Stripe payment link or by emailing me at lisa@the-cocoon.co.
Confidentiality
Trust and honesty are essential to our work together, and I will keep all information you share with me confidential, with two exceptions:
If I believe that you are going to harm yourself or another, I will share what I believe is necessary to keep everyone safe.
I will share information if I have your advance permission.
Your Birth Data, Privacy, and AI
I take the privacy of your birth data seriously. Here is exactly how it's handled:
Your name and birth data are stored locally on my computer. They are never shared with any AI service or uploaded to the cloud by me.
Your birth chart is calculated by my own private software using a professional astronomical calculation engine.
I may use AI tools for research and analysis using only derived chart data (placements, aspects, transits, and similar), with your name and birth data removed.
Your messages to me, and anything you share with me personally, are never shared with AI.
Waiver
I will make every effort to ensure high standards of skill, integrity, and reliability, but I am not liable to you for any loss, injury, or damage that you may suffer as a result of this agreement or my services. You and your representatives forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue me for any injury, harm, or death caused by these services.
Disputes
If there are any legal disputes between us, I hope we can resolve them through honest communication. Most problems can be resolved by candid, good faith communication and discussion. If we need outside assistance, then any disputes under this agreement will first try to be resolved through mediation with a mediator selected by Cocoon LLC in New Mexico, and you will split the costs of the mediator with Cocoon LLC. If we cannot resolve the dispute through good faith attempts in mediation, then the dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in New Mexico and the prevailing party will be entitled to reimbursement of its fees and costs of the arbitration by the other party. New Mexico law will govern, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Agreement
I anticipate that we will have a productive and engaging relationship. Please reach out if I can answer any questions. By purchasing a reading or subscribing to The Luminary, you agree that you have read this agreement and agree to its terms, unless and until we modify it in a writing agreed to by both of us.
